Established during the administration of President Diosdado Macapagal, the Presidential Museum allows Filipinos and foreigners alike to learn more about the lives and history of the Philippine Presidents.

The galleries of the museum feature the memorabilia of our leaders who, during their term in office, mapped the country’s course and led the people to overcome challenges for the stability of the country and for succeeding generations.  Noteworthy artworks, personal effects and items from the collections of Malacañan Palace, private institutions and family members have been assembled to form a unique and substantial exhibition commemorating the former Presidents of the Philippines.

In addition, oil portraits of the country’s First Ladies commemorate the women who have contributed to the development of Malacañang Palace to being the “people’s home.”

This museum will take us on a journey from the inception of the Philippine Presidency to the present.  It also provides historical information on significant events that occured in other parts of the world.

Let us remember the challenges, decisions and achievements of the people who have helped shape the destiny of our nation.
